About Tim Merel
Tim writes books and makes art. He doesn’t do sensible things.
Tim wrote on frontier tech to twenty million readers for TechCrunch and VentureBeat, interviewed/quoted by New York Times, USA Today, National Public Radio, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Forbes, Reuters, Associated Press, Daily Mail, FT, Economist, and Variety, is a polymath (software engineer, industry analyst, lawyer, writer, artist, musician), with Yale MBA, and Computer Science and Law degrees from the University of Sydney.
He lives with his Parisian wife surrounded by native wildlife in South Australia. And yes, they do get koalas in their trees.
Tim acknowledges that he walks the traditional country of the Kaurna people, and pays respect to elders past and present. He recognises and respects their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land, acknowledging that they are of continuing importance. He extends his respect to other first nations.
